In 2007, BRO (Basic Rights Oregon) awarded Terry the Fighting Spirit Award in acknowledgement of the huge contribution he has made toward achieving equal rights for LGTB Americans.
In the process of creating a documentary video presentation for the event, I sorted through 100’s of photographs and interviewed many people who Terry has touched over the years.
The photos, videos, and stories that wouldn’t fit into a 10 minute presentation can be told here in a dedicated journal of my brother-in-law Terry Bean’s amazing life as a Gay Rights Pioneer and Humanitarian.
